The OBIS Student Fund

Principles

Students can apply to be reimbursed for recently completed or upcoming education-related activities. The research activities need to be relevant for the MTEC studies, e.g. projects (such as building up a platform), conferences, competitions etc., which have a direct relationship to the MTEC Masters program.

Incoming applications for funding of education-related activities will be evaluated based upon the following criteria:

  • Relevance of the activity for the MTEC Masters program
  • Benefit of the activity for the individual student
  • Benefit of the activity for other students
  • Other funding sources exhausted

Application deadline

HS2018: End of Autumn Semester 2018
Deadline for the OBIS Study Fund will be just before the end of each respective semester. The OBIS board will vote on the funding in their last board meeting of the semester. Successful applicants will receive funding in exchange for writing a short article about their experience, which will appear on the OBIS homepage.
